Web Site Design

It is difficult to give prices since web sites vary greatly in scope. However, to give a rough idea, a small brochure web site with four pages (Home, About Us, Products and/or Services, Contact Us) would cost about $AU 400 (incl. GST). This does not take into account any special offers we have from time to time. You would need to supply all images, logos and text. If we have to take extra photographs, create logos and artwork, or extensively manipulate images, there will be an extra charge consistent with our hourly rate of $AU 50 (including GST). (Please note this does not take into account any special offers we offer from time to time). Included in our price, is a copywriting service, in which we re-word text, in order to maximise sales from your web site and also for search engine optimisation purposes.

E-Commerce

The price for an e-commerce site is very much dependent on the type of e-commerce implemented. E-commerce can vary in complexity from a simple online order form to a full shopping cart with real-time credit card processing. The latter can also vary in complexity from a templated solution to a fully customised solution. The best e-commerce solution for you will very much depend on your type of business.

Although e-commerce is most often associated with online retail businesses, it is also suitable for service businesses. Naturally, haircuts, consulting services and manicures cannot be provided online, however a service business that has a brochure web site can use its web site to provide its customers with the option of settling accounts online. This has the effect of giving existing customers a reason to visit the web site and thereby getting the opportunity of tempting them with other services on offer.

Internet Marketing

Where internet marketing is tighly woven into the web site design process, such as overall design, copywriting, navigation and optimisation for search engines and directories there is no extra charge. Submission to the search engines and directories is also free, except where there are third party costs.

Other internet marketing techniques such as conducting a link campaign, designing banner ads, attract an extra charge consistent with our hourly rate of $AU 50 (including GST).

Banner Ads - Pricing for banner ad design is charged according to our hourly rate of
$AU 50. There may be extra charges imposed by the sites where the banner ads would appear. Please contact us for further details.

Domain Name Registration

We will register your domain name for you for FREE with web site design however you do have to pay the charges imposed by registrars if you wish to have your own domain name, such as www.yourcompany.com.au where "yourcompany" is your company name (or a similar name which is easily remembered and associated with your company name). The registrar costs are listed below.

A more economical option is to have a subdomain, such as www.yourcompany.webwitchery.com.au. You then only pay $AU5.00 per month (incl. GST) for the web site hosting.

Web Site Hosting

There are a variety of hosting plans. The prices would depend on the features to be included on your web site. For example, the prices would be higher if your web site includes a forum, or access to an online database. Prices for hosting start from $AU 0 for non-profit groups and $AU15.00 a month (incl. GST) for small businesses which purchase a domain name. With a subdomain, web site hosting only costs $AU5.00 per month (incl. GST).
